Finding Your God-Given Purpose...

Psalm 37:4
Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.
In finding out God's purpose for your life, you have to delight yourself
in Him first.
What does that mean?
A Journey Lived... Persevering Through Hardships
by admin
In any endeavor, there are always difficulties and hardships and
heartaches, but also great victories and breakthroughs and much rejoicing.
As I live my life and pursue the purpose that God has given me, which is
pursuing my golf career as a platform to help and encourage others, I have
found wisdom and strength and truth in the Word of God.
I want to share some verses and thoughts that have helped me persevere through the many challenges of life, sickness, and perceived failures.
Proverbs 23:18
There is surely a future hope for you,
and your hope will not be cut off.
I trust that despite any hardships that I may face along the way, God
always has a good plan for them…
Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
And since I know God has a good plan for me and you, we can be patient and
wait for it no matter what the present circumstances...
Romans 8:24-25
For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
I know that without His strength and love I most definitely wouldn’t be
continuing to strive for my dreams... My strength is not enough to carry
me: I know I need Him.
Isaiah 40:29-31
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
When The Mountain Seems Too Big To Climb
by admin
When I feel like something is too big for me to do, that I am at a
disadvantage, I remind myself of what Paul says in 2 Corinthians 12: 9-10:
"But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
When something is too big for you to achieve in the world's eyes, it
leaves room for God to show His great strength.
Write down how this can apply to your life today; how you wish to apply
this principle.
At the end of the day, take note of what you learned, and write prayers of
supplication or praise and thanksgiving to God.
Keeping record will help you look back and see how much God has done in
your life when you feel alone and hit those rough spots that life can
bring. We so quickly forget sometimes but we need to remember that His
goodness endures always.
Psalm 77:11
I will remember the deeds of the LORD;
yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
